DHL全球志工日 再續生態工作假期前緣

暨2009年陽明山二子坪生態工作假期，今（2015）年DHL洋基通運股份有限公司再度與台灣環境資訊協會攜手合作，於DHL全球志工日這一天，來到新北市石門區阿里磅生態休閒農場展開工作假期，為擴大台北赤蛙棲地的計畫作前置準備。

DHL員工、眷屬共50位志工，協助農場周邊農地完成兩分地人工除草及堆肥的工作，並體驗製作70公升的菌水，營造友善環境的農地，落實「里山倡議」的精神。園區導覽帶領志工認識農場內的生態及動植物，小朋友正嗅著月桃葉香。攝影：陳千智。

從茶葉產區到生態農場

「阿里磅」是平埔族語「染布坊」之意，早期因有乾淨的溪水及生長了許多染布用植物而得名，後種植極具經濟價值的作物——茶葉。民國86年由農場主人王德昌發起了「定存大自然」的活動，60多個家庭集資響應，買下這片約莫11甲的谷地，以保育為主，教育為輔的理念，經營至今已呈現出低海拔豐富的生態樣貌，成為環境教育的重要場所。

曾於十年間數次來訪阿里磅生態休閒農場的志工李麗純，在講師帶領志工們進行農場園區的導覽解說過程中，憶及過去記憶中的此地的景像，說道：「農場的硬體設施還是和過去一樣，並沒有過多的建設。而今天看到的樹林更為茂密，蔭涼許多，走起來也不炎熱很涼快。」志工一語道出王老師「定存大自然」的理念和經營成果。

沃土利生：友善環境的農業與生態復育

「沃土利生」，意為肥沃土地以利益眾生。本次工作假期秉持著此精神，志工們協助農場周邊農地進行友善環境的農事作業。現代農業講求效率與大量生產，甚至許多農民為了領取政府的休耕補助，大量使用化學肥料及除草劑；而大量採用化學肥料及藥劑的結果經常引來生態的浩劫，土地地力降低，地上的動植物也消失無蹤。為了減少大規模整地、生產活動對自然演替的干擾，擴大農場內多樣生物的棲息地，因此開始與農場周邊農地主人進行友善環境耕種的合作。阿里磅農場王德昌老師正在和志工講解菌水的製作流程。攝影：陳千智。

第一階段任務是志工以鐮刀或空手除草，取代機器割草及噴灑除草劑。第二階段任務則協助製作菌水，以森林表土、黑糖漿、米糠與水混合發酵製成的菌水，有利於改善土質。

難得有機會攜家帶眷親近大自然，不少志工夥伴們對於這樣的農事體驗活動感到相當有趣。跟著爸媽一起參與的志工陳思安滿足的說：「我喜歡這次的安排，因為有很多有趣的東西，我今天很開心。」志工張絲閔也表示：「實際參與環境教育活動後，深刻感受到工作人員對土地環境的愛，希望自己也能內化這樣的精神，也更感恩有機種植的農夫。」

全球志工日深耕在地

台灣環境資訊協會發展整合部主任陳炳燕表示，雖然有機耕種成本較高，但仍希望可以實際行動對有機或無毒耕種的農民表示支持，也有助於提高生活品質與身體健康。DHL公司實施全球志工日計畫（Global Volunteer Day）已進入第八年，在全球志工日這天於世界各地安排社會關懷（Go Help）、環境保護（Go Green）和教育關懷（Go Teach）等類型的志工服務回饋台灣社會。

DHL表示，希望此次的志工服務，能將志工對土地的關懷之情傳遞給當地農民，並將持續鼓勵員工利用閒暇時刻自主進行志工服務；有了此次活動的經驗，未來對於實踐環境保護的方式將更為多元。DHL全體志工於服務結束後來張大合照。 攝影：陳千智。
